But the problem is, when modern news media channel started, it was forced on the people of India as a way to propagate the idea. It has evolved over time following Western media during the freedom struggle, people really invested their life income to promote idea of independence and more. Journalism became the fourth pillar in democracy. It was well respected and useful thing to have.
as inflation grows, a journalist cannot manage both earning and delivering news at the same time. Opportunity was there to commercialised the journalism because orchestrators are always active. Now, whoever pays for the information gets priority. But as a society, do we pay for information? Broadly, NO.
Nowadays, when I hear the term “Godi media,” Its disappointing. Tell me an organisation which is not corrupt, which has funding, job security, and social respect? Media people are driving their passion while dreaming of a home and family without any national cut in GDP or security and consistent physical struggle. My point is: if the media were able to get job and financial support from the society, they would finally have the choice to provide unbiased and narrative-free news.Let’s do a practice: whatever cause you support, fund that media channel or news anchor and he will be unbiased. If you want the change, let’s start by paying for the cause. Let’s make sure some part of GDP goes to them, else someone will buy them and you can just be stupid and cry over it.
Coaching academy and its teachers. They are as stupid as it can be. If out of a million, one student says a teacher helped, every parent sends their kids to them—yet not a single one of them is certified to teach. They just tell their personal trauma without any filter student believe it. We cannot idealise these dual-faced teachers. Being rich is a choice.
